Prospective Global Studies Majors and Minors

Advising for International and Global Studies Majors and Minors for Spring 2010:

Declared International/Global Studies students may meet with an Academic Advisor during a scheduled appointment or during our walk-in hours.  Students who have complex questions that may take a significant amount of time are encouraged to schedule an appointment. Walk-in hours should be reserved for shorter questions and issues.

Interested in becoming a Major or Minor in Global Studies?

Due to the growing demand, as well as the individualized nature of, the International Studies Major and Minor, we are implementing a new process for major and minor declaration. In order to be eligible to declare the International Studies Major or Minor, students are now required to attend one of the following informational meetings. The meetings will be held in a workshop format, which will take you through the construction of a major plan of study as well as all necessary forms for the transfer and/or addition of the major or minor. This will prepare you for an enhanced experience in the program and will also allow for individualized advising to be reserved for declared students. In preparation for the meeting, you are encouraged to look at the Major and/or Minor requirements.
