International Studies Advising

Whether you are just considering International Studies or are actively pursuing an I.S. major or minor, it is important for you to understand the International Studies curriculum and processes. To assist you with your questions, we have assembled important information on this website. However, because no website can sufficiently answer every question or address each individual situation, you should meet with an International Studies advisor in person.

• Regular Hours:  Monday-Friday, 8:30-12:00, 1:00-4:30   (see walk-in hours below)

Advising for Fall 2008:
Students may meet with an Academic Advisor during a scheduled appointment or during our walk-in hours.  Students who have complex questions that may take a significant amount of time are encouraged to schedule an appointment.
 

• Appointments: To schedule an appointment, please call (217) 333-0178 or stop by the Advising Office Monday-Friday from 8:30-12:00 and 1:00-4:30.
(Appointments must be made via telephone or in person -- not via e-mail.  Because we are closed during the lunch hour, appointments cannot be scheduled at that time.)
• Walk-in hours

Friday, August 22 9-noon and 1-3:30
August 25-29 9-noon and 1-2:30 (all week)
September 2- December 12 Tuesday 9-noon; Thursday 1-4pm
